Prep Connect
At Geebung State School, we offer Prep Connect, our transition-to-school program for children enrolled to commence Prep the following year.
Prep Connect gives children the opportunity to become familiar with the school environment, meet staff and begin forming friendships with other children who will be starting Prep alongside them.
Prep Connect dates for children commencing Prep in 2027:
- 8 October 2026
- 22 October 2026
- 5 November 2026

School Tours
We hold school tours during Term 2 each year.
If you have missed one of our scheduled tours, please contact the school office to arrange a suitable time to visit.

How To Enrol
Step 1 Enrolment Documents
Geebung accepts both in-catchment and out-of-catchment enrolments. To begin your enrolment process please complete and provide the following documents:
Enrolment applications for Prep 2027 open from 22 January 2026.
Completed applications can be emailed to: Enrolments@geebungss.eq.edu.au
Alternatively, documents can be submitted directly to the school office.
Please ensure all required documentation is provided so we can process your application.
Step 2 Prep Information Evening
Our Prep Information Evening gives new and prospective families the opportunity to meet our leadership team and Prep teachers, learn more about the Prep program and discover what starting school at Geebung looks like.
Prep Information Evening for 2027
- 27 May 2026
- 5:30pm – 7:00pm
- Geebung State School Library - located beside the Activities Hall at the end of the school driveway.
Step 3 Enrolment interview
At Geebung State School, we value the opportunity to meet our new families before they begin their school journey with us.
The enrolment interview gives families the opportunity to ask questions, learn more about our school and share any important information that will help us support their child.
It is also an important first step in building a strong partnership between home and school.
Our Administration team will contact families when enrolment interviews are available to book and will arrange a suitable time to meet with a member of our leadership team.
Your child should attend the interview with you.
Please bring:
- Your child’s birth certificate
- Any relevant previous school reports
- Visa documentation, where applicable
- Relevant medical or specialist reports
- Any other information that may assist us in supporting your child
Prep students will also participate in a screening assessment in November. Families will be contacted once bookings become available.
