Welcome to Geebung State School
It is my pleasure to welcome you to Geebung State School.
We are a warm and welcoming primary school community located in Brisbane’s northern suburbs, providing education for students from Prep to Year 6.
At Geebung, we believe every child deserves to feel known, supported and encouraged to achieve their best. Guided by our motto, Strive to Achieve, we work together to create a learning environment where students can grow in confidence, develop a love of learning and feel proud of their progress.
We hold high expectations for learning, behaviour and personal growth, while recognising that every child is unique. Our staff work closely with families to support each student academically, socially and emotionally, and to ensure they feel safe, connected and ready to learn.

These expectations guide the way we learn, interact and care for one another, helping to build a positive school culture where kindness, responsibility and respect are part of everyday life.
Strong partnerships between home and school are an important part of what makes Geebung special. We value the involvement of parents and carers and are fortunate to have a supportive P&C Association and wider community who contribute so much to school life.
