Curriculum at Geebung state school is developed from the Australian curriculum in English, Mathematics, Science, Geography and History from prep - Year 6, early years curriculum guidelines for prep and the essential learnings in Technology, the Arts, Health and Physical Education from years 1 - 6 and languages other than English in years 5 - 6.
 The school is committed to developing teacher practices through professional development focusing on aspects of curriculum implementation, pedagogy and assessment and the incorporation of a proactive approach to planning and teaching.
The Geebung state school curriculum team is made up of the principal, deputy principal, teacher-librarian, learning support teacher and other classroom and specialist teachers.  The team meets fortnightly with the purpose of steering curriculum investigation, review and implementation of pedagogy and assessment in the teaching and learning process and decision making with the wider teaching team.
