Dear Parents
WORLD TEACHER’S DAY
This Friday, October 30, is World Teacher’s Day which provides an opportunity for you to thank our teachers for their commitment and dedication to planning and delivering educational programs for your children. While our roles are complex we enjoy working with your children and seeing their progress. I am impressed by the continual efforts of our teaching staff and thank them for their sincere interest and motivation to do the best for the students they are teaching. Thankyou all, and Happy World Teacher’s Day.
TUCKSHOP
Our Tuckshop Convenors Leanne and Helen provide a wonderful service for our school community. They are struggling at the moment to find volunteers to assist them in the Tuckshop and I join them in asking for parents to check your calendars to see if you are able to assist at any time during the week please - even volunteering once a month is a great help. The P and C Association and the school would prefer to be able to provide the tuckshop service every day – extra volunteers will help us achieve this.
If you are able to spend some time in the Tuckshop please see Leanne or Helen.
A reminder to all our families that the Tuckshop is unable to operate on a credit basis. Please make sure payment is included each time your child orders tuckshop Morning Tea or Lunch.
